For any travel insurance contract with a duration of more than 1 month, the Subscriber may waive his adhesion to the contract by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, within a period of 14 calendar days after the day of receipt of the Certificate of Subscription, without having to justify a reason or to bear a penalty.
The letter of renunciation accompanied by the original Certificate of Subscription must be sent to AVI International Immeuble Colisée Gardens, 10 avenue de l'Arche, CS 70126, 92419 Courbevoie Cedex, France, written according to the following pattern: "I, undersigned ... declare to renounce to my adhesion to the contract .... (state the reference). I kindly ask you to reimburse me all the sums taken from my account No ............ owned by ............, within a maximum period of 30 days from receipt of this. Date and signature ".
The renunciation results in the return to the Subscriber of the full amount paid within the maximum period of thirty calendar days after receiving the registered letter.
You are asked to verify that you are not already covered by a guarantee covering one of the risks covered by the new contract. If this is the case, you have the right to waive this contract for a period of fourteen (calendar) days from its conclusion, without any fees or penalties, if all the following conditions are met: - you have taken out this contract for non-professional purposes; - this contract comes in addition to the purchase of a good or a service sold by a supplier; - you justify that you are already covered for one of the risks covered by this new contract; - the contract you wish to cancel is not fully implemented; - you have not declared any claim covered by this contract. In this situation, you may exercise your right to waive this contract by letter or other durable medium addressed to AVI International Immeuble Colisée Gardens, 10 avenue de l'Arche, CS 70126, 92419 Courbevoie Cedex, France,accompanied by a document justifying that you already have a guarantee for one risks covered by your insurance policy. Your membership fee will be refunded within thirty days of your renunciation. If you wish to waive your contract but do not meet all of the above conditions, check the waiver conditions in your contract.

AVI International Customer Service is commited to acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 10 working days of its receipt (even if the response to the complaint is also provided within this time) and, in any event, to provide a response to the complaint within 2 months of the date of receipt.
In the event of rejection or refusal of the complaint fully or partially by AVI, the Subscriber may then apply in writing to the Insurer (mentioning the references of the file concerned and enclosing a copy of any documents supporting documents): EUROP ASSISTANCE, anonymous company under French law with a capital of € 35 402 786, registered in the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 451 366 405, a company governed by the Insurance Code, with registered office at 1 Promenade of the Bonnette - 92230 GENNEVILLIERS. Acting also on behalf of and for the account of its Irish branch, whose trade name is EUROP ASSISTANCE SA IRISH BRANCH and whose principal place of business is located at 4th Floor, 4-8 Eden Quay, Dublin 1, D01 N5W8, Ireland, registered in Ireland under certificate No. 907089. The Insurer will acknowledge receipt of the claim within 10 working days of the date of receipt and specify the foreseeable time of its processing. If the disagreement persists after the response given by the Insurer, the Member may seek the opinion of the Mediator of the French Federation of Insurance Companies (F.F.S.A.) whose details will be communicated by the Customer Service of the Insurer.
